CYKELSPÅRET LÄNGS OSTKUSTEN

Cykelspåret längs ostkusten, vår uppskattade vägvisare i kartor, text och bild utmed ledens 250 mil mellan Ystad och Haparanda. (3:e upplagan, utgivningsår 2006)
Det känns onekligen positivt, att tusentals cykelturister (och en och annan jäktfri bilist) tydligen letat sig bort från E4 och E22 för att i stället uppleva vårt vackra Sverige längs Cykelspårets mindre och lugnare vägar.
Guiden är som tidigare i fyrfärg, kartorna i skala 1:250 000,
48-sidor, formatet A4.
Förändringar i vägnätet har medfört smärre omdragningar av leden, och de är nu överförda till det nya kartmaterialet, liksom dithörande textavsnitt.
Den separata rapsgula inlagan med förteckning över boenden och turistbyråer längs leden har (som varje år) uppdaterats mot senaste vandrarhems-, camping- och turistbyråkataloger.
För gästande utlandscyklister finns alltjämt en separat engelsk översättning av den beskrivande texten.

CYKELSPÅRET (The East Coast Cycle Route)
This cycle route, marked by signposts, takes you from the idyllic town of YSTAD on the south coast of Sweden right up to the northern town of HAPARANDA on the Finnish border: a distance of approx. 2500 kilometres.
This long stretch from south to north naturally offers a rich variety of scenery and spots of cultural interest. You will enjoy long sandy beaches in the south and, as you go along, the unique Baltic archipelago with its thousands of islands often within reach. Green pasture land and smiling lakes, silent forests and rapid rivers in the exotic North will welcome you as you go along.
East coast villages and towns, including the capital of Stockholm (²the Venice of the North²), will now and then offer a change from the peaceful country roads, which mostly characterize the East Coast Cycle Route.
Cykelspåret is a guide of 48 pages, in colour, with maps (1:250 000, e.g. 4 centimetres = 10 kilometres) showing the Cycle Route in 21 sections. It also describes in text the highlights along the way, as well as listing tourist offices, youth hostels and camp sites within easy reach from the Route.
There is an AN ENGLISH TEXT TRANSLATION available, to be used with the main guide.
